1. Introduction

Via Nova Inc. ("Via Nova," "we," "us," or "our") operates a mobile application designed to help students explore entrepreneurship through three stages: Dreamforge, Pathforge, and Launchpad (the "App" or "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The Service is intended for users age 13 and older. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 13. Users are asked to confirm their age at account creation. If we learn that a user under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information and terminate the account.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information. Your name, email address, age confirmation, and any optional profile details such as your school.
• Content you enter into the App. This includes your responses to guided prompts across Dreamforge, Pathforge, and Launchpad, such as your interests, skills, problems you want to solve, business ideas, and goals, as well as your messages to the AI mentor.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data. Device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and information about how you navigate and use the App.
• Approximate location. We may collect general location information derived from your device or network to support region relevant content.

Payment information

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple and Google through their in app purchase systems. We do not collect, receive, or store your payment card details. Those transactions are governed by Apple's and Google's own terms and privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To generate personalized guidance, prompts, and recommendations based on what you enter
• To save your progress across stages so you can pick up where you left off
• To respond to your support requests
• To monitor and improve the App's performance, stability, and features
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

4. AI Processing

The App's guidance features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you enter responses or send messages to the AI mentor, that content is transmitted to Anthropic in order to generate a response back to you.

Via Nova accesses the Claude API under a commercial account. Anthropic does not use inputs or outputs from commercial API traffic to train its models by default. Anthropic's handling of this data is governed by its own terms and privacy commitments.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. With vendors who help us operate the App, including cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and AI processing providers, each acting on our instructions.
• App stores. With Apple and Google in connection with subscriptions and purchases.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Via Nova, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to govern your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and the content you create for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or de identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

7. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Access and update your account information within the App
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non essential notifications through your device settings

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the General Data Protection Regulation, including rights to correction, portability, and to object to certain processing. 9. Users Between 13 and 18

If you are under 18, we encourage you to review this policy with a parent or guardian. We limit our collection to what is needed to operate the Service, and we do not use the content you enter to build advertising profiles. Certain state laws provide additional protections for minors, and we honor those rights where they apply.

10. International Users

Via Nova is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or by email and update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
